It is observed that Road dept. of PMC do road work but other departments / organization like dranage, BSNL, MSEB, etc dig roads for their maintenance but do not perform proper patch work on road.
This is a waste of PMC money and effort. Is there any way where all department/organization co-ordinate before doing such work and ensure roads remain in good condition

Kindly clarify and delete Gulmohar developments name against Owner Name 1.

there is an urgent need of a subway below the koregaon park/blue diamond bridge as traffic has gone beyond control. south main koregaon park residence people have now to go right up to blue diamond chowk to take the u turn to go to or to go on the bridge. if a subway is built below the bridge one can save at least 10 minutes+2 kms of travel+petrol fr each vehicle. other vehicles also benifit as these koregaon park vehicles do not disturb the smooth flow of other vehicles going straigt fr other destinations. there is ample space on both side of the bridge fr the subway.

Besides beautifull public parks/gardens, Bhopal has many private residential houses, with well maintained gardens attached - credit of which goes to Garden-dept of Bhopal, who offer to maintain such private gardens at no-profit no loss basis- which otherwise would be very difficult for citizens for want of technical knowledge/labour and time. Above service has ensured greenary for the city.
Unless some such service is started in Pune also, many like me, will convert their gardens, into tiled open space, thus reducing the lung-power of Pune.

I always prefer to pay bill through your bill pay option.
For Corporation tax (Pune) instead of bill pay I guess there is online payment option on PMC website (www.punecorporation.org) through ICICI gateway.
I had used the same to pay my property tax for my property account # F/3/19/04755000. The payment was of 2808/-INR and I used the credit card# 4477473715028002
Everything went in right direction but the receipt came out on different property. (F/1/33/0095100) for 2888/- INR
I guess the payment got paid on others property.
Please look into the matter and reverse the payment on my account.

Now it is translocation of trees to save environment
Environment is main concern to every one, the green cover is dwindling day by day and there is concern about large chunk of forest is destroyed for the sake of development. climate change is main concern. There is a big debate about development versus conservation.
Of late, in Pune with the road widening many old trees are destroyed and there are large scale protest from the citizens for vandalism done by authorities. We have heard of translocation of tiger from Sarsika tiger sanctuary (Rajasthan, India) to Ranathambore (Rajasthan, India) as the tiger population in the national park is dwindled. Have you heard of the translocation of trees? The planners thought that instead of felling, cutting and destroying the trees, trees can be translocated from one place to other , of course it needs planning, and cost of translocation is much. The tree after translocation has to be nurtured carefully.
How to translocate a tree?
. The ground around the translocated tree has to be dug up two to three feet depend upon the age of the tree and organic fertilizer to be applied and left for some time. The branches of the tree have to be cut/trimmed and excess roots should be trimmed. For the cut branches fungicide/ insecticide to be applied to avoid any future infection.
2. The place where the tree has to be planted, a pit is dug 2-4 meters and organic fertilizers and chemical and rooting hormone to be added to increase the root growth.
3. The tree is transported to the place to be planted, while transporting care should be taken to cover the root system with jute sacks
4. After planting its new location, enough manure to be supplied and enough water is supplied to the translocated plant
5. After translocation, the tree will show setting of leaves and roots with in 20-30 days which is the sign of success. It will not give guarantee of 100percent success.
Translocation of trees needs expertise, time and cost, it success all depend on the age of tree and nurturing of the tree after translocation. The experiments were already started by Bangalore Corporation and Hyderabad and many parts of India. Many corporate while constructing the building are trying to translocate trees from one place to other as a corporate social responsibility to save environment. The recent example is TCS while constructing their building in Hyderabad has translocated 100 trees which are 20 years old. ICFAI has translocated many mango, jack fruit and coconut tress. The banyan tree planting near the Rajiv Gandhi International Airport is brought from 100 km away. In Bangalore Corporation has translocated many trees while widening of road. National high way authorities also translocated trees while widening of roads.
Translocation costs between few thousand to lakhs depend on age of the tree and distance.
What every may be cost of translocation, trees will give direct and indirect benefit to human being, the total cost of the services a tree gives is much more than the translocation of the tree.
It is good sign that many individual and companies follow this, and not bother the cost of translocation and do this as a corporate social responsibility and individual social responsibility. Let environment come first.

I stay in Wanowrie. There is a curved road in front of Flower Valley apartments which has a very dangerous turn. Many 2 wheelers skid on this road and fall. Kindly construct a speed breaker on this ciurve so that accidents can be prevented. Secondly, at this same jucture there is a Trash bin which is facing Sacred Heart Town and Flower Valley. This creates bad smell and pollution. Request you to change the position of the Bin away from the apartments so that the residents may have safe air to breathe. As advertised by Pune Municipal Corporation, I was trying to pay my Property Tax online using web site www.punecorporation.org website
But whenever I put my property number, it shows no record found.

Excellent site, the online property tax payment is extremely well done and user friendly. Appreciate the efforts taken. Suggestion - If it is possible to add details of the property to teh online receipt like - name / address etc, It would be helpful.
