The manifold activities to be followed according to the provisions laid down in the BPMC Act, 1949.
The common perception about the process of verious works is not citizen-friendly. This perception is primarily due to lack of information about the process. This website aims to make the process easier to understand and increase citizen participation in the process. While the main concern of the citizen is how to know. The information and process is the main hurdle for the citizen. This website aims to remove that hurdle. While every effort is made to make the website as citizen-friendly as possible, suggestions are always welcome.
I am extremely delighted to present this web portal which is very innovatively designed for the benefit of the citizens. We have taken up E-Governance project which is truly transparent, citizen oriented, accountable and concentrates on providing services to citizens in a time bound manner. Citizen Facilitation Center was the first successful project. The next step is this webportal. I am sure that e-governance is the only initiative which can change the face of the Government. It is a tool to change the Indian environment and transform the society into a more responsive and collaborative society. We are following this principle in our Corporation. I thank all the citizens of Pune for their support and cooperation to the Corporation. I assure you all to provide you the best of the services. I would also request you to offer suggestions and refinements regarding this portal. PMC has always taken a sincere and continuous initiative for use of advance technology to serve people better on tomorrow than yesterday.
